Total Biker FM New Music Chart

Guitarist Neil Morris is an Official Artist of Bare Knuckle Pickups

Broken to play Download Festival 2012!

2011 Biography

From parts of Yorkshire, England, late 2009 saw the birth of Hard Rock quartet 'Broken'. The perfect mix of hard rock/groove metal riffs are brought together by James Skidmore's powerful vocals, Neil Morris’s awesome guitar playing, backed up by the tight rhythm machine that is John Iliffe with Fraser James on bass duties, 'Broken' create truely infectious, kick ass grooves, leaving audiences wanting more..

In early 2011 Broken performed for UK Wrestling at one of their live Sky Tv recordings. It was evident the relationship was 'solid as a rock' when Broken were asked to record the theme music for UKW Wrestling Mayhem, which is aired weekly on Sky Television, with the single 'Defying All Gods' also available to download on Itunes/Amazon Mp3 and other known digital stores.

The band self released their EP 'Hold Your Ground' in 2011 (also available digitally). Packed with crisp, crunching guitar riffs, melodic bass lines, powerhouse vocals and skintight drumming; Yorkshire Music scene quote 'Original, creative, tightly rehearsed songs, strong vocals and groovy guitar riffs in which you cannot help but tap along to. Everything a great EP should have - a great listen'.

Going from strength to strength as a live force whilst continuing to develop their sound with new material, Broken have gathered a strong, loyal following. This following was evident in the number of votes gained which gave them the opening slot on the Main stage of Wakefield Rock Festival, sharing the stage with; Inme, Senser, Heavens Basement, The Glitterati, Die So Fluid, Panic Cell.

Broken are dedicated to continue this growth and Rock stages across the UK in 2011/12 with their original, but, reassuringly familiar sound that cannot be categorised but will always get a venue bouncing. Don’t miss 'Broken' at a venue near you!!!!!
